ルを開催いたします。
この度、参加者を募集開始しましたので、メーリングリストにてご案内させてい
ただきます。

第3回中性子・ミュオンスクール参加者募集！

このスクールは、中性子・ミュオンユーザーの裾野拡大のため、若手育成を目的
とした、海外にも開かれたスクールです。
スクールでは、中性子科学、ミュオン科学の基礎に関する講義を学習した後、実
際に実験装置を用いて実習を行うことで、その理解を深めることができるプログ
ラムとなっています。中性子科学及びミュオン科学に興味がある国内外の大学院
生、若手研究者の多くの皆さんのご応募をお待ちしています。
なお、企業所属の方を対象とした講義もしくは実習のみ参加のプログラムについ
て検討を行っております。ご希望の方は下記連絡先まで直接お問い合わせくださ
い。

場所：いばらき量子ビーム研究センター、J-PARC物質・生命科学実験施設(MLF)
（茨城県那珂郡東海村）
対象者：大学院生、ポスドク、若手研究者（アカデミック、企業）
（参加は放射線業務従事者に限ります）
定員：30名程度
内容：中性子・ミュオン科学の基礎とその応用に関する講義とMLFでの実習
使用言語：基本的に英語
応募締切：2018年7月31日
参加費：25,000円（期間中の宿泊と全食事代金が含まれます）

Subject: The 3rd Neutron and Muon School, J-PARC, Japan

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 3rd Neutron and Muon School to be held on 
November 20-24, 2018 at J-PARC, Tokai, Japan,

The School provides neutron and muon beam research training for 
newcomers through overall perspective of physics, chemistry, biology, 
materials science and more. In addition to lectures, the course provides 
practical sessions of hands-on experiments and data analysis. All 
neutron and muon techniques are generally covered.

- Date: November 20-24, 2018

- Venue: J-PARC, Tokai, Japan

- Eligibility: Graduate students, Postdoctoral fellows and Early career 
researchers from both universities and companies who want to learn about 
neutron and muon science are encouraged to apply.
  (Prospective participants must be certified as radiation workers)

- Application deadline is on 31 July 2018.

- Registration fee: JPY 25,000
 (This fee includes room charge and full board throughout the School)

- Financial support: The school organizers may provide a part of
