Scope
UVSOR Workshop on Low-Energy Photoemission of Solids using Synchrotron
Radiation, LEPES 09, is the second international UVSOR Workshop following 
the
highly successive workshop on Terahertz Coherent Synchrotron Radiation in 
2007.
The scope of the workshop is to bring together scientists of UVSOR and of 
other
synchrotron radiation facilities to discuss the latest developments and 
trends
as well as the future directions of photoemission spectroscopy of solids 
using
synchrotron radiation, and to promote even more promising applications.
Especially Fermiology and other many-body interaction of solids probed by
angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy are main topics of this workshop.

Scientific Topics
1. Photoemission spectroscopy of solids using synchrotron radiation.
2. Related spectroscopic research of low energy electronic structure and
Fermiology.
3. New instruments for photoemission spectroscopy of solids using 
synchrotron
radiation.
